OUR TEAM
MICHAEL APARICIO
Founder and Principal Consultant
Michael is driven by every personal story and outcome by entrepreneurs and business owners who deliver value to their local communities, particularly those with historically inequitable access to opportunity including minority, immigrant, and the LGBTQ+ communities.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Leadership and Administration, specializing in Executive Leadership & Organizational Development from Boston College and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Michael served as co-head of programming for IntEnt, Boston College's Graduate Entrepreneurship Club. Prior to Revby, Michael worked as a global sales director for a digital media and research publisher and as a marketing & new business development director for a consulting firm. His career began as an early employee at dot-com startup, Ask Jeeves.
Fun facts: Michael has traveled across 6 continents and enjoyed a short stint as a pastry baker at Amy's Bread, a small business in NYC.
ESTEFANIA LOPEZ
Business Strategy Consultant
Estefania is a driven business strategy consultant with vast experience in Latin America and US markets. She enjoys helping business owners solve problems, understand and implement creative approaches to solutions to ultimately boost their revenue. Estefania serves on the board of ALPFA as their VP of their Entrepreneurship Committee for their Boston chapter.
She holds a graduate degree in Supply Chain Management from the Technological University of Panama, a Lean Supply Chain certification from Georgia Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Interamerican University of Panama. She currently attends Babson College for her MBA.
LUIZ MORÁS
Administrative & Business Development Associate
Luiz is fascinated by business consulting and helping small businesses achieve exceptional results. Driven by diversity, he is moved by every particular story and the possibility to support business owners’ dreams and the communities surrounding them. Luiz served on the board of the Brandeis International Business School Chapter of ALPFA.
He holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University with distinction and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Insper where he graduated top of his class. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and beginner in French.
Interesting fact: prior to his time in the business world, when younger, Luiz played competitive tennis in South America and in the United States.
SOTHEAVATEY BONG
Small Business Consultant
Sotheavatey is a consultant whose passion is to deliver value and help businesses grow. She is motivated by business owner stories and driven to make a change. She has experience consulting for local businesses and for national, multi-national corporations throughout her career. Her professional journey began as an Advisory/Deals Consultant at one of the big four accounting firms.
Sotheavatey holds an MBA degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, a Business Analytics Certificate from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance (Honors) from CamEd Business School in Cambodia.
Languages: English and Khmer.
Other Facts: Tey is half Chinese and Cambodian, with lots of stories to share about growing up in an Asian family. She is an advocate for minority communities, people of color, and the LGBTQ community.
RUMELA MITRA
Advisory Member
Rumela works in new business development in tech and also loves to DJ for music and art events in NYC. As a first-generation South Asian American and proud daughter of immigrant parents who forged their own careers in civil engineering and music, she is committed to advancing equitable access for historically disenfranchised communities. Her professional path is best described as a 4IR multimedia digital strategist, at the intersection of academia, policy, the information industry, emerging technology, and the creative economy. She has had the privilege of serving independent and socially conscious collectives.
CHRISTOPHE LeGORJU
Advisory Member
Christophe is a business manager and advisor with entrepreneurial experience across various industries, including fashion, beauty, e-commerce, finance, tech and construction. He helps start-ups and small business owners to assess the implications and impact of business decisions on each aspect of a company from the financial model, ROI, IT, sales, branding, marketing to consumer needs. In addition to working with Revby, Christophe is the Director of an Economic Development Program at the South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corp. in New York City. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
ANTHONY CISNEROS
Advisory Member
Anthony is an Associate Director of Finance at Propeller Industries, a finance and accounting firm with offices in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles. He provides FP&A services primarily to start-up consumer packaged goods companies at stages ranging from pre-revenue to acquisition. He has a passion for early-stage companies and employs his first-hand experience working with small businesses since 2001.
